“The pain of losing a son.”
On 27 March 1992, the day of a fatal accident” 30 years ago, I was only 17 years old. The most painful memory of this vivid nightmare was the unexpected suddenness of death when this big terror machine struck me! It “pushed” me ruthlessly into life beyond death. I remember experiencing intense emotional shock, thinking: “How could this really be?” “What happens after you die?” Within the midst of this storm, my Heavenly Father spoke to me and reminded me of something very important I did. Suddenly, I remembered I had a true born-again experience (four months earlier) with the Living God through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Before I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ, I was at a stage where I lost all meaning in life and made a foolish decision to isolate myself from everyone close to me, to protect myself from getting hurt. Consequently, I was sucked into a deep pit of depression while all my core relationships like those with my parents and siblings crumbled. I even start to doubt the proof of God.
During November 1991, four months before the accident, I was divinely visited by Almighty God of the universe. He “spoke audibly” into my soul! He gave me the last invitation to surrender my sinful life to His Son, Jesus Christ in exchange for His New Life to be birthed in me through His Holy Spirit. If I may interrupt myself. You may wonder: ” What must I do to be reconciled with God, receive eternal life in heaven and be born again?” Let us look at what the Bible say in Romans 10:8-10: 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,”[d] that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”
During this serious, supernatural visitation I saw in a vision that my cup of sin was full to the brim. How did I perceive this vision? Your inner man has spiritual eyes that are able to see in the unseen realm.
Sin brings destruction. Satan knows it and he wants to take me out. “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Rom.3:26 Living Bible. The Lord’s voice was not harsh or filled with rejection. His voice was full of authority. An intense yearning came up within me to be in right standing with this awesome Holy God, which today I know is called Yahweh in the original Hebrew text. Mercifully, I did respond to His invitation. My friend, have you responded to the heavenly Father’s homecoming call?
Many thoughts flew through my mind in the split second the giant wheels came rolling towards me. I was reasoning: “Although I had a visitation from God and did respond to His divine warning by surrendering my life to Jesus Christ!
Do you experience the irony, dear reader? Can you relate to the ‘unfairness’ out of your own human perspective? Now that my life is getting in order, why must everything come to an end? I had an overwhelming urge not to die! I struggled to retain my spirit in my dying body, but this desperate attempt to survive was in vain. I was ready to enter “life beyond death.” Today, looking back after many years; everything that happened at the accident scene makes sense to me when I looked for answers in the Bible. For instance, the Word of Yahweh tells us in Ecclesiastes 8 verse 8 that no human being has authority over his soul on the day of death. “There is no man ruling over the spirit to restrain the spirit, and there is no authority over the day of death, and there is no discharge in battle, and wickedness delivereth not its possessors.” Ecclesiastes 8:8 [Young Literal Translation]
WHAT HAPPENS BEHIND THE SCENES AFTER DEATH SET IN?
One of the most important parts is where the heavenly Father, hosts, and angels will look at “your-short-life-on-earth video” being played on a screen in the unseen world.
In my case, no sins were played back because I am born again and Jesus Christ’s Blood erased my sin record.
Look what the Bible has to say regarding this in Romans 8:1 “So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. 2 And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.”
On the contrary, I have heard people’s testimonies, who were not born again, whose sins were played back during their death experience. I will share more about this in my “Crushed to Death” DVD.

Why am I telling you this and what does it have to do with my life that played back before my eyes when I died? Well, I’m just saying that nothing that we do on earth is hidden from God. Everything is recorded in the heavens, whether good or evil. “I saw the dead, great and small, standing before God; and The Books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to the things written in The Books, each according to the deeds he had done. 13 The oceans surrendered the bodies buried in them, and the earth and the underworld gave up the dead in them. Each was judged according to his deeds.” Revelation 20:12-13
Even the media, with all its twisted truth, has somehow managed to let this truth shine through that there is life beyond death. In this movie, it has managed to touch the consciousness of the viewer and make you think about your own life and what you are busy with.
“The sins of some men are clearly seen, going before them to be judged; but with others, their sins go after them. 1Timothy 5:24
Now what happens after death sets in?
During the death process, your outer physical senses will at a certain stage cut out. You may experience your vision goes dark. From there a moment will arise when your inner man’s senses become vividly alive. At this point, you start to perceive the unseen/spiritual world with your spiritual eyes.
Let us also look at the following where Apostle Paul explains what happens during the death of a born again believer: “So it is with the resurrection of the dead. The [human] body that is sown is perishable and mortal, it is raised imperishable and immortal. 43 It is sown in dishonour, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in strength; 44 it is sown a natural body [mortal, suited to earth], it is raised a spiritual body [immortal, suited to heaven]. As surely as there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual body.” 1 Corinthians 15:42-44 (Amplified Bible) These scriptures clearly point to the fact there is life after death and surely an eternal destination waiting for us. On the other hand, dying people who are not born again; their souls will be drawn out of their bodies when they die and taken to the depths of hell. The book of Job in chapter 18 describes the death of the wicked/sinners very clearly. Job 18: 5 “Indeed, the light of the wicked will be put out, And the flame of his fire will not shine. 6 “The light will be dark in his tent, And his lamp beside him will be put out. 11 “Terrors frighten him on every side and chase at his heels. 12 “The strength [of the wicked] is famished and weakened, And disaster is ready at his side [if he stops]. 14 “He is torn from his tent which he trusted [for safety], HOW MANY MEN TRUST IN THEIR PHYSICAL STRENGTH? And he is marched and brought to the king of terrors (death). 18 “He is driven and propelled from light into darkness, And chased from the inhabited world.” This man’s soul is torn out of his body by demonic forces and brought to the king of terrors / Satan / death. He is translated from this physical present world to hell / kingdom of darkness. I have spoken to some paramedics and doctors who testify they have seen some of these phenomena while patients die. Some of them scream in horror while dying because they start seeing the demons in the unseen world coming to grab them. Others try to shrink back from “something” or get off the bed with bewilderment but they have no control to retain their inner man in their bodies.
Death stays a sure reality and appointment no matter how hard you try to ignore it with modern escapism techniques. Death can also happen to young people, it is wise to think ahead towards your appointment with death and to make sure you are born again if you want to be in Heaven with Jesus for eternity.
“A wise person thinks a lot about death,while a fool thinks only about having a good time.” Ecclesiastes 7:4
